Koinei tĀ Aotearoa whakamihi

This is how New Zealand introduces itself

Pepeha is a way of introducing yourself in Māori. It tells people who you are by sharing your connections with the people and places that are important to you.

This website is here to help all New Zealanders introduce themselves in Te Reo Māori, through Pepeha. We encourage everyone to learn the stories behind their Pepeha and share them with pride.

Once you have completed your Pepeha you can save it to your device, have it printed for display or as a taonga for yourself or a loved one.

Learn. Create. Share.
